intermittent kernel oops when rebooting


Every so often when the reboot command is issued we will get the following errors:

patty:~ # reboot

Broadcast message from root (pts/0) (Wed Nov 3 07:08:32 2004):

The system is going down for a reboot NOW!
patty:~ #
patty:~ #

Server specs:
OS: Suse 9.1 pro
Vendor: Sun V20
Processors: Opteron 64

Forgot to mention kernel is 2.6.5-7.108-SMP
