installing four monitors on suse 10.2

I am using opensuse 10.2
I got two ati graphic cards installed in my system,.
ati radeon x1650xt
ati radeon x1950xt

I have installed the property ati drivers properly. And been using the fglrx driver specification on the xorg.conf file. The is no trouble with that one.

In the hardware information I see the two cards, as well as in the SaX2 -p option.
lspci output:
Quote:
07:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc RV530LE [Radeon X1600]
07:00.1 Display controller: ATI Technologies Inc Unknown device 71e6
08:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc Unknown device 7280
08:00.1 Display controller: ATI Technologies Inc Unknown device 72a0
SaX2 -p output:
Quote:
Chip: 0 is -> VESA Framebuffer Graphics 07:00:0 0x1002 0x71c6 AGP fbdev
Chip: 1 is -> VESA Framebuffer Graphics 08:00:0 0x1002 0x7280 AGP fbdev
I played a little with SaX2 while showed me only 1 display while it should show 2 displays for both of the card,. Now it won't even load and writes the following error (as well as when trying to force SaX2 to reread the hardware with "SaX2 -r" it displays the following in SaX2.log):
Quote:
17-May 17:07:24 <I> [ Sysp: XStuff detection data
SaX: ups lost card during probing... abort
how do I force it to scan hardware and display the proper information?
moreover how do I configure four monitors (two ati cards, with two dvi outputs)?
I tried configuring the xorg.conf manually but it didn't work, is there an automatic way to do that?

I would like SaX2 to operate properly when doing SaX2 -r...

When I tried to run "sax2 -c 0 0=ati" it loaded sax2 and displayed the properties for the second card., Yet, When I tried to change it and run the X with it, it didn't run the X and resulted with an error:
Quote:
Requesting insufficient memory window!: start: 0xbfe00000 end: 0xbfefffff size 0x10000000
(EE) Cannot find empty range to map base to
(EE) fglrx(0): Cannot read V_BIOS (3)
(EE) fglrx(0): PreInitInt10 failed
SetVBEMode failed
(EE) fglrx(0): PreInit failed
(II) fglrx(0): === [atiddxPreInit] === end
When I took out one card and tried running the system only from the second card, it worked properly. I could see an image and all. The problem is therefor something with reconfiguration dual cards in the system. And configuration of the second card parameters, if I could see the second card while the first one is plugged, it might solve the problem.

I tried changing the xorg.conf only to the second card, with out the definitions of the none working driver 'fglrx' and instead I put in the 'radeon' default driver that comes in the new xorg.conf.
Unfortunately I didn't succeed working the second card either with these parameters, and got the following error message:
Quote:
(EE) No devices detected.

Fatal server error:
no screens found
Note, that the card is functioning properly when it is the only one that is installed in the machine...

how do I solve my problem?
