instalation problem with sles8 and hp proliant ml 370


I'm trying to install SuSE Linux 9.1 Pro on a HP Proliant Ml370 with Raid5 Smart Array 642 and have one big problem ...
The instalation program cannot find the harddisks.
any ideas

Normally, when installing a server of this type you have to configure the RAID subsystem before installing linux. This will require the HP server CD's to configure the RAID subsystem before you start your linux installation.

You can use the Compaq SmartStart CD to configure the Smart Array. If you don't have it, it can be downloaded from HP support site. Good Luck
