Post increasing size of a mirrored volume in vxvm


Hello all,

is it possible to extend a mirrored veritas volume which has two SAN LUNs each one in a seperate EMC storage box.

i need to add diska -> EMC box1
and diskb -> EMC box 2

then i need to increase the size of the mirrored volume.

can anybody help me with the procedure.

Yes, Veritas can, easily. If your HBA's can already see the devices attached on both boxes, you're most of the way there.

It might help if you gave details like version/distro of Linux, kind of HBA's, etc., but a simple Veritas setup can easily be handled by their tech support, which you're paying for. EMC support can also help you
