Icon Title Size

I think I have tried everything. But for the love of God I cannot get the title Thunderbird to fit on one line. It comes up as

Code:
Thunderbi

What saize is your screen resolution and what size icons are you using? In ControlCenter, look at the icon settings - try 16x16.

The screen resolution is 1280x1024. It is not the icon size that is the issue because no matter what size icon I choose the name remains the name.

The problem has to do with the width afforded for an icon title because veen when I change the desktop font size to the smallest number the same problem occurs. Where can I change the amount of characters in a line for an icon title on the desktop?

Re: Icon Title Size

I had the same problem with my monitor settings at 1024 X 768, but after installing the Nvidia driver it fits properly on one line. If you don't use an Nvidia graphics card you could always rename it to T-Bird, or something along those lines.

I'm already using the nVidia driver from YOU. Yours is a solution to the particular problem but I would also like to know how to change the number of characters per line with regards to the icon title.

K Menu
Control Center
Appearance & Themes
Background
Advanced Options (under the screen image)
Width for icon text: choose a number of pixels instead of auto (85 or more goes)

I agree, this one is difficult to found out!

That is where it is. Why could they not have it under the Icons or Font sections where it would be more logical? Ahhh well, thanks.
