Howto undo updates or roll system back to initial installation?

I installed Suse 10 and it worked most of the time.
I did updates and now it does not do as well.
How can I undo the updates?
I did not do a system backup before the updates so I can't do a restore.
Thanks for any suggestions.

You can always re-install the packages from your original installation medium. De-activate all other installation sources and look in YaST for packages that appear in red in the 'Software Managment' module. You can select the filter 'Package Groups' -> 'zzz All' or 'Installation Summary' -> 'Keep' to show all available/installed packages.

Click the entry until the black/green update sign appears.

Why didn't I think of that. Really simple & obvious!

abisko00 Thank for your great reply. It answers my question in a really straightforward
manner with enough information that even a first-timer could do it.

I really do not want to roll back every thing but after I have checked rpm and pin, I
may have a better idea of what corrupted my system.
