Question How to use [To Tray] KasBar option without KasBar

"To Tray" is an excellent option in kasbar panel which I use whenever i want to hide a program that i do not need(real player playing streaming music or xterm downloading a cd) i minimize them to the tray so i can free some space in the taskbar and hide that program in the tray

to do this i add kasbar panel and choose to tray option for the desired application then i remove kasbar panel

is there a way to do all this in fewer steps?!
