How to mount a spare partition on a hard drive?

I have a triple boot box with a partition of about 20 gig that I want to use for data. It was originally used for fedora core 6 and the partition is in that file system format. I would like to mount that partition from my suse partition. What are my options for doing so?

Try as root the command 'mount' (see 'man mount' for your options). Something like 'mount /dev/xxxx /mnt' should work. xxxx is the device of this partition. You have to find out which device it actually is (try e.g. 'fdisk'). Once you're happy, you can add a line to your fstab with an appropriate mount point. This will ensure that the partition will be mounted at boot time (do a 'man fstab').
