hi all
i am trying to use suse enterprise 10 i was using fedora i have a problem in burning the iso cd`s in the windows i only have the 1st cd works and i have the 5 iso of suse at my hda5 i need to install suse from the hard disk i cannot find any option like (linux askmethod )in fedora at suse .
i cannot find this option in the start of installation i have to cancel the installation to have a window asks how u want to install and give me 3 option from cd and hard disk and network i chose hard disk it prompet me where is the location of the iso hda3 or hda5 i chose hda5 as i put them at the D: without putting them in the folder then the installer say it cannot find the directory for iso image i put them in a folder and the same
i need to know how to install suse from hard disk after booting from cd no.1
Don't use the windows device alias for the directory name. Check if the NTFS partition was mounted somewhere for you and use that. Otherwise, press [CTRL]-Alt-F2 to enter the psuedo shell, and create a directory for it, and mount it manually.
