Huh?

How many hard drives do you have? 1? 2?

Which OS did you install first?

Did you get GRUB installed? Or do you get the Windows bootloader instead?

I have two physical drives I install Vista on the first drive and I am trying to install Opensusi on the same drive but different partition couldn't do it.
when I installed Susi after the first system start I got the options I mentioned before either I go to Vista or do the installation again.

take out the cd before rebooting after install
are you sure that the installation isn't the installation but initial configuration?

(does it ask for root password)

I will call the initial installation where it copies the file to the hard disk. And after the first reboot it will ask for root password and conifguring the network and the other hardware but what happen it goes into a loop after the first reboot either I boot from the DVD where I will srart over again or boot from hard disk where is Vista no sign of linux I tried removing the CD before booting then I will go Vista
