hi all, i am a newbie to linux.today i tried to install linux SuSE onto my new laptop model Acer TM3002WTCi, however i failed to do so.
after the installation has completed, i saw a screen which says many things are shutting down, and then an "exiting" appears at the end of a line. however, the screen will just stop there, both the harddisk light and CD-Rom light stopped shining.(it is not fully hanged yet, becoz when i press Caps Lock, the light will still respond. but i suppose it has stopped doing any other thing else...)
then i pressed power to reboot the system manually, and it says that system was not shutting down properly and need to do a disk check. during the disk check, it clear many files away and deleted them. including the files "/usr/X11R6/bin/X" and "/var/X11R6/bin/X".
after the check disk completed, the system reboot automatically, then i tried to enter the graphical mode, but it says "cannot link /usr/X11R6/bin/X to /var/X11R6/bin/X.
how can i solve the problem? can anybody kindly help me? thx!

the above problem has been solved. but here comes a new problem...
when i intend to enter the GUI interface, a blank screen will appear and nothing else...i thnk maybe it is becoz of my video card driver or sth like that. my video card model is Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 900.
anyone can help me to solve the problem? thx a lot!
