cannot find the file there.

ftp://ftp.oregonstate.edu/pub/suse/s...0-227.i586.rpm

ftp://ftp.oregonstate.edu/pub/suse/s...0-227.i586.rpm

These are on Oregon State's server, it runs a bit faster than SUSE's as it isn't quite as overloaded. Any missing dependancies you should be able to get from there. Another thing you could do is go into YaST, remove your Personal CD as an installation source, and add this ftp server as an installation source.

ftp://ftp.oregonstate.edu/pub/suse/suse/i386/9.1/

And then click on Racer in YaST and it will automatically download and install it. Now you will have access to everything SUSE Pro has minus a couple proprietary packages. That should save you a lot of installation problems later. Anyways, ttyl

hey, how do you get racer to run when you've already got the rpm? it gives me warning, WARNING: A color depth of 24 bit for your display is recommended for playing Racer. Use SaX2 for configuration. Does my video card need to support that or can I just change it 24 bit?

ungua 10-24-2004 11:06 AM

i downloaded some binaries for the other version but they won't work either...

youknowwho 10-24-2004 10:49 PM
