how to determine whether sp1 has been applied?


How can one find on a SLES9 box whether the sp1 or 2 patches have been applied?

On our SLOX server, under /etc/ we have UnitedLinux-release and SLOX-release, detailing the version numbers and service packs installed. There should be something similar under SLES9

you can use Spident. (i think the "s" is cap'd) do a: apropos 'service pack'
