I have an unsolved problem with my network card which means that network services fail to start up on boot. However, going into YaST and detecting the network card gets it going without problem.
Until I can solve this properly, does anyone know what process YaST is executing when it is detecting the network card?
Why isn't there an automatised way of thanking people for help without blocking up the forum listing like this? Threads should also be closable. Seems to me that LinuxQuestions is behind in these respects.
not that this is really the best place for discussing things like this but
1) thanks? i don't really need any personally.
2) there was a way to "close" in some respects, but 99% of people didn't use it, and there's just no benefit
