How to Access Windows Machine in 10.2

I have an openSuSE 10.2 computer that I would like to set up to access a Windows 2000 machine on the same network by browsing from Places > Network Servers from the GNOME menu options. I also have an openSuSE 10.3 computer, and I can see the Windows 2000 computer from there on that one, but not for 10.2. I did not have to set up anyhting special for 10.3, and have FUSE and NTFS-3G installed on 10.2 (not certain if needed though). I am not sure what other configuration I need to do for 10.2 to have the computer appear in Network Servers, so any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

You don't need fuse or ntfs-3g. What you need is samba-client. I don't know if you'll be able to browse from Places > Network Servers though. In Nautilus all you need to do is type: smb://<hostname or ip>.
