How do I transfer YAST2 package Info to Smart? AND....

I just installed SMART PACKAGE system on my Suse 10.0 Laptop. I get the error:Yast2 directories not loaded. How do I put all my computer's Yast2 package info on Smart? How do I start the Smart program?? Currently I have to go into Super User mode and enter:smart --gui. Can't I access smart an easier way? Finally, when I click on a RPM package, usually it says,"open with archive manager or file manager". How do I get it to say open with Smart? Thanks, Please help!

You can right-click on the desktop and click link to application. Then in the name, type "Smart" or something similar. Then click the other tab (forgot the name) and in the command area, type "smart --gui" without the parentheses.

OK .....All straight now!

Once I did the FULL update on Smart, everything works just fine. As for the desktop launcher, I did the following: I right clicked on the Desktop, then clicked on "Create Launcher", I then put in the following on the command line: {sudo /usr/bin/smart --gui}. It would not work unless I did it in this fashion, due to the fact that I have to be in root. So now when I click on the desktop launcher, It opens the terminal up asking for my password, and presto.....Smart Package Manager is up and running!
