how can I install suse 9.3

I am running 9.2 at present installed from the DVD iso, I have a fast internet connection at work and have downloaded all the 9.3 files from the FTP site, I am unable to install it at home where I only have a slow connection and the install iso file when burnt to disk will not see the installation files on the hard drive or DVD rom disk. Can anyone tell me what I have to do to build up an installation DVD with the files that are available on the FTP site. Or is there a way to upgrade from the existing 9.2 installation?

I don't exactly understand what the problem with your 9.3 DVD is. If you download the correct iso and burn it to a DVD, it will allow you to upgrade or fresh install 9.3. However, I'm not aware that the 9.3 iso is available via ftp yet.

Have you downloaded the correct file?
Maybe you have the live DVD by mistake (which cannot be used to install SuSE)?
If you have the correct iso file, was there an error during the DVD burn / have you used your burning software to verify the burn?

If possible you can setup your work pc as an ftp, then bring your pc from home to work and do a local ftp install, considering you have downloaded all the files. Else find some bittorrent links to download the CD or DVD iso images with your works fast connection. Cheers.

I have all the files on my Pc at home, Moving my Pc from home to work is not allowed under company policy so I need another method, I have not located an iso download for the installation in iether DVD or CD format, I only have the i586 and source files plus the ftp install iso.
