Hiding Partitions
Running SuSE 10.1
**My Question** Is there anyway to have a drive partition hidden from the explorer interface just like in XP using a tool like XP Disk manager. There you can see all the drives and partions. If you want to bring the drive up again (use it) you have to go there and set a letter.

Problem: I have a partition I don't want to have access to in Linux.
Solution so far: Edited fstab and deleted the line for the drive.

Problem: can still see it is Koncorer (don't know how to spell it) "explorer type browser" I guess I could try now to delete the icon for it.

Request: Is there anyway to have this partion to be hidden from Linux (but still accessable in Windows if so desired). By hidden I mean "not accessable and not seen". Like no knowledge of the sucker existing :)

nope, not possible outside of whatever window manager you're using.
