help to install suse in a nforce4 motherboard...


hi! i've download the 5 cds images from the novell' site... and then checked the md5 hash... everything alright... i've burn the cds and started the boot...
but then yast did not recognize the packages in cd... and acused a media check failure...

in my brother's pc the cds work fine with or without my cd reader...

i think itīs some kind of incompatibility with my motherboard's chipset... nf4...

how could i install suse 9.3 professional 32 bits?

athlon64 3000+
dfi lan party ut nf4 ultra-d
seagate 80 gb
kingston 512mb ddr400
lg gwa-4161b
msi rx600gt

Worked fine for me on both 32 and 64 bit on both 9.3 and now 10.0 with asus a8n-sli board, which is also nforce4.

Since 10 is out, maybe try that instead?
