Help suse 10.0

I have a Suse 10.0 Full distro on DVD that came with Suse linux 10.0 Bible.

At this current time I am running Mandrake linux 2007 powerpack but would like to try suse too.

This is a silly question I think but once I install suse 10.0 will the updating it make it suse 10.2 as I want to use the 3d Graphics XLG etc...

Nope. The update sources point to repositories on the same level as your installation - i.e. 10.0.

You can always download the 10.2 distro and start from there.
