Help login problem


hi i updated to kde 3.4 and now i cant login, i think it is because of kde because im writing this by loging into a very ugly desktop called fvwm2 or something. heres what happens when i try to log in | enters user name and pass hit enter>screen turns black for 2 sec > back at login prompt. Please help me, thanks

You'll have to look in your logs to get more information. Your logs will be located in /var/log

If you don't know which logs to look at, try to log in, cd to /var/log, then type ls -ltr, all the recently used log files will be at the bottom of the listing.
