help playing multimedia files

I need help, I'm using OpenSuse 10.0 and whenever i open a multimedia file (avi, mpg, mp3, etc) with any program I use it says to me "playlist ended" and doesn't play a file, it only happens with files that are on my mounted NTFS partition which is where windows is, if i put a cd, it plays it fine, and if I open a document of the NTFS partition Linux opens it without problems, the only problem is with multimedia files.
