gtk, FireFox, Gaim, when restart

Hey everyone,

I was having problems earlier with the font stuff in firefox and gaim... this is what i noticed: when i originally went into the gnome control center and change the fonts then open gaim and firefox the fonts are what i want. If i end the session open these programs again the fonts are huge again. If i go to gnome control center then it says the fonts i want, but apparently they are reverted back. so i reselect the ones i want (which are currently selected) and then launch gaim and firefox and the fonts are normal.

Either i have to do this every time, or does someone know a remedy?

sorry im really new to linux so i cant figure these things out quickly

thanks,
jack

I'm not too familiar with Suse or Novell, but this is a thought:

When you go to log out, you have three options, or something like that, that say "Log Out", "Shut Down", and "Restart the Computer". There should also be a check box that says "Save current setup", check that and log out, then log back in, this should save stuff like your font sizes.

I hope this helps.

i've got suse 9.2 and kde 3.4, and have since 8.2/3.0, and i've never seen such a check box... would be nice...
