grub and iso installs
I am using mepis64-amd beta 1 om my secondary hard drive (hdb1)
seems to work just fine I also have a open susie10.2 iso file on my secondary hard drive (hdb1) I mount the susie directory as an iso and copy the files to a directory called /susie then I add this to menu.1st title SUSIE install root (hd0,0) kernel /susie/boot/x86_64/loader/linux kernel /susie/boot/x86_64/loader/initrd then I get a grub boot error "invalid or unsupported format" I think I used this method for fedora and it worked yes, I could use k3b and make a bootable dvd but where is the fun in that |
What are you trying to do?
Why not just install Suse to its own partition? I don't know if what you are trying to do is possible or not, but if it is, there will be some documentation somewhere. --Ian |
