Gnome 2.8 installer for Suse 9.2?

I'm currently running Gnome 2.6 on my computer and was wondering if there's an installer to upgrade 2.6 to 2.8? I know that for most I'd have to download all the packages and manually install the packages myself but I'm sure there's an easier way. I've heard of Dropline but from my understanding Dropline Gnome is designed for Slackware. Is there an installer for Suse 9.2 Pro?

That is a good question. My friend asked me about that last week and I am still searching... If I find something, will post it here as well.
