Not quite sure what you mean -- but to see status of currently active interfaces in SUSE as root (SU) type in IFCONFIG

For wireless specific interfaces type IWCONFIG.

cheers

I'm having the same problem.
Trying to get a slimserver install working and the startscript needs manual adjustment.

The error I get is
"./slimserver: line 15: .: /etc/sysconfig/network: is a directory
./slimserver: line 22: get_active_ifaces: command not found
"
The get_active_ifaces line in the script is
"
if [ ! `get_active_ifaces | grep -v 'lo'` ]; then
exit 0
fi
"

Is there something wrong with the path to the command or what?
