gedit and Suse 10.2

Can GEDIT be used within a Suse 10.2 enviornment?

I'm currently using KDE but would like a nice simple editor to use in a terminal window. I saw Kwrite...don't like the fonts and I don't know how to change them.

Thanks.

For most KDE apps, you can reconfigure settings by running the App -> Settings -> Configure App and looking for the options you want to change. If you really want to run gedit, then install it using YAST because it will run in KDE.
