gcc/make problem

I installed SuSe on my laptop, because I couldn't get my touchpad working in fedora. Touchpad works great from the beginning in SuSe! Next obstacle to tackle is installing ndiswrapper for my broadcom adapter. I go to do this and find that the make command is not found. I try gcc and g++ and those can't be found either. I looked through yast and it appears that binutils, glibc, etc. are installed, so what's the deal. I appreciate any help. Linux is pretty dull without being able to compile software. :(

Which version of SuSE did you install? The personal download edition does not include any compiler software on the disks, so you have to download it from SuSE's FTP servers. You can do this through Yast, in the Online Update module.

The packages you want are called make, gcc and gcc-c++.
