Gaim: How Do I Get it running on my Sun Desktop (SuSe)?

Hi

Question:
How do I get Gaim running on my Sun Desktop(SuSe)?

Background:
I've been informed that Gaim runs Yahoo Messenger very well so I thought I'd just sign on with my yahoo ID (Couldn't find anyplace to create a Gaim account). "Authentication failed" is the resulting error message.

Please let me know how to get Gaim running.

Thanks
Tj

You have it installed, yes? If so, are you adding your full ID? (i.e.: whatever@yahoo.com)

Thanks for your response.

Yes Gaim is istalled, it was installed as part of the Sun Desktop package.

Gaim asks for a Screen Name and Password. I typed in the full yahoo I.D. and got the same error message as when I type in the screen name.
