ftp on suse

i have this problem with my server a suse linux runnig server
i can acess it via ftp from a certain range of ip so i d like to know where can i get the cinfiguration file that is blocking acess via some ip and how to edit it so that i can acess my server from any ip adress it seems to me that there is a range of allowed ip and not allowed ones

This could be either the configuration of the server itself or be the rules of your firewall (if you have one) blocking that specific range of ips

/etc/sysconfig/SuSEfirewall2

I haven't thoroughly played around with this file, so I don't know if it is a firewall thing.

If you are feeling a little risky, you could temporarily turn the firewall off with "SuSEfirewall2 stop", test the ftp, "SuSEfirewall2 start".

(you could unplug it from the net first, and try from another machine on the same lan. A little tricky to do, perhaps, but possible.)
