Firefox Address bar problem

Since updating firefox through YOU to 1.01, I have found that if I enter a URL and press enter firefox closes down straight away. There is now crash handler message like you usually get if an app crashes in KDE.

If I enter the url and hit the go button, its fine. Any ideas?

KDE 3.3.2 Level 'a' SuSE 9.2 Pro

try starting firefox from a terminal/console and see if a message appears there when it crashes...

Hi, thanks for the tip. It says segmentation error. I'm off to search this forum and do a bit of a google. I might just drop back to the default version of firefox that came on the SuSE 9.2 DVD
