Share library

Quote:
From within that directory you will find a file called firefox-bin which is the executable - just run it. If you run into problems with library files (can't find this and that .so file), you'll need to copy or link the asked files that reside in the firefox directory, to your library directory (/usr/lib or something).
ldd the executable firefox-bin can show the shared library dependencies.
The asked files can be found in the directory

Code:
        libmozjs.so => not found
        libxpcom.so => not found
        libxpcom_core.so => not found
        libplc4.so => not found
        libnspr4.so => not found
        libsmime3.so => not found
        libssl3.so => not found
        libnss3.so => not found
        libxpcom_compat.so => not found
        libplds4.so => not found

mozilla-i686-pc-linux-gnu-1.8b1-installer.tar.gz
mozilla-i686-pc-linux-gnu-1.8b1.tar.gz
mozilla-i686-pc-linux-gnu-gtk2+xft-1.8b1.tar.gz

From above files, to run the installer version even with the libgdk1.2 library installed, would get the following error. Any idea?

Code:
#./mozilla-installer-bin
/mozilla-installer-bin: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libgdk-1.2.so.0: undefined symbol: g_source_add
