file owner permission problem in suse 10.1

Hi all,

I am using SUSE 10.1 for LDAP client.Every thing works fine except one thing.

I am using pam_mount with cifs to mount users home directory automatically in the client.I got the home directory using this.I can view my folders and also i can read.

But when try to create a file i am getting Permission Denied Error.I have observerd that the ownership of all the files that a user is creating is root:root

The same Server configuration is working without any problem in FC4 client. Here i am using (pam_mount + smbfs).

Does cifs and smbfs mount make any difference?

How do i solve this problem.

Gokul

I've read your post earlier today, but I can't help you since I don't use LDAP. Hopefully someone else will help you
