External HDD+Ntfs

Hello,
I got this 320G external HDD connected to pc via usb.
Initially it was on fat32 format but not that handy cause i could not write my dvd images on it(files more than 4GB).In order to use it both on liux and windows i formated it on NTFS.
Using the ntfs-3g driver allows me to read and write on windows ntfs partition. But i cannot write to this usb HDD.Any suggestions?

Thanx a lot in advance
