Hi all-
I am trying to run an emulex HBA diagnostic application and I am getting following error messages. Any help is much appreciated.

" librmapijni " and " libdfc " are unknown to google,
so to get a solution, please tell which application
you are trying to use, and a link to where you got it,
please.

Regards

fardad - Did you ever fix your problem? I am having a similar issue but suspect that I might be running the wrong version of hbanyware.

knudfl - The application is called "hbanyware" from Emulex Corp. It is used to manage their HBA's on Linux.

@ ex.submariner : Welcome to LQ. .. ..

May be you can provide a link for the software ? ( hbanyware )

I would guess, that the missing libraries are part of it.
Or may be those libs are in some other Emulex package ?
..

OK , I found this :
http://www.emulex.com/downloads/emul...ware-kits.html
→ → Applications Kit ,
HBAnyware utility 4.1a36 (208 MB tar file) :
http://www-dl.emulex.com/support/lin...2.0.39-1-1.tar
> elxlinuxapps-4.1a36-8.2.0.39-1-1.tar →
ElxLinuxApps-4.1a36-8.2.0.39-1-1/enterprise_kitfiles/libdfc-3.0.35-1-1.tar.gz

tar xvf libdfc-3.0.35-1-1.tar.gz
.. And have a look into the folder libdfc/
Choose an architecture, e.g. i386/
Next : find a package in i386/
e.g. rhel-5.0/libdfc-3.0.35-1.i386.rpm
Then install the package,
and libdfc.so.3 is present in /usr/lib/ .. ..
..
I would have guessed, that the installer took care of that :
sh install , but may be it doesn't.
..

I downloaded the HBAnyware utility 4.1a36 from the link you gave me and it worked just fine.

Thanks very much! (Sorry I didn't see the "Thanks" button or I would have used it.)
