I am trying to get to a repository so that I can follow the howto instructions for loading multimedia in suse 10.0
Whenever I try to use a installation source I get this same error message
ERROR(InstSrc:E_no_instsrc_on_media)
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
Does it not work with any installation source? First, have you tried to connect to the source using a browser? Just to be sure you entered a correct URL and wrote the correct fields in the source form.
When you add the installation source you need to add the directory that has a file called directory.yast in it, otherwise you get that error.
NB this issue was resolved in suse 10.2 (maybe 10.1, I don't remember 10.1) when it became possible to add any directory as an installation source, nomatter what it contained.
