Eclipse has no Java perspective

Hi,

I have installed Sun's Java SDK (1.4.2 btw, the 1.5 SDK doesn't seem to be available) from the SuSE repositories and eclipse afterwards using Yast.

Java's fine, since when I open xterm and type java -version, I got correct response.

When I execute eclipse however, I have no Java perspective, just CVS and Debug.

Any idea?

I must be more confident in my trial and error approaches:

When installing the eclipse package, eclipse-jdt (java development tools) must also be selected to enable java programming.

Sorry for this, but I took it for granted ...
