Dual Layer ISO onto 2 Single Layer Medias
 

Ok, I pulled a stupid but I have a saving grace. haha

I downloaded the full 9.3 Pro DVD iso and for some reason I was thinking that I'll just burn it onto 2 DVD's. Stupid me didn't think first and realize that the iso is setup for a single dual layer DVD. The only thing that makes me feel better is that I also started downloading the 32bit version that fits on a single DVD.

My question is this, is there a way to take a Dual Layer iso and break it into 2?

Yeah, me too. I'd like to have an answer to this one. The dual layer iso worked fine for my desktop, because I installed from a folder that I had extracted the iso to. But my laptop is a different issue. Can a person break up the 32bit and 64bit versions into different single layer dvd's? If so, how? Thanks!

There is a Single Layer 32-bit DVD for download if all else fails but there should be a 64bit disc around somewhere.

Thanks for the info... I'm aware of the two seperate iso's that have been stripped for specific processors. What I would like to know is HOW those individual iso's for 32bit and 64bit were created from the official suse 9.3 pro dvd that contains both 32bit and 64bit installations.

Does that make sense. I saw a website a few weeks ago that gave instructions on how to do it but for the life of me I forgot to download the page and cannot locate it again. I know that there are some experts around here that would love to flaunt their expertise in getting this type of thing done....
