Dual boot with two disks
I'm having problem when dualbooting Suse 9.2 and XP. I installed Suse Linux 9.2 to 40GB hard disk. The second HD in my PC is used for Windows XP and I don't want to mix up these two operating systems. As you probably know, there is a simple way of switching between XP and Linux installed on two separate hard drives, which allows you to keep your XP disk untouched. Here's the link to Philip J. Hollenback's article where the priciples are described

The problem is that when I reboot the machine and select "Boot to Linux" after adding C:\bootsect.lnx="Linux" into my boot.ini file under XP, I always get a black screen with just "GRUB" text at the top. I can still boot to Linux by changing boot settings in BIOS (I set my Linux disk as the default disk for booting), but you surely admit that it's very frustrating to go to BIOS each time I want to switch to another operating system.

Any ideas why Suse doesn't boot from the file "bootsect.lnx" located at the XP disk?
btw. I verified this file (bootsect.lnx) and it really seems to contain the correct data from Linux boot sector.

I'm not sure why the windows bootloader isn't working but why don't you use grub to boot both OSs?
