I copied the menulist but it still didn't work, it almost booted windows but suse wasn't shown at all.

Could you expand on the above statement? Does that mean you had a Grub menu showing without Opensuse listed but with windows or did you just get the windows bootloader? Do you have the drive with Opensuse on it set as first boot in the BIOS? What is the default boot system in menu.lst?

It's pretty hard to guess the correct entry for windows in menu.lst without knowing how your Opensuse sees it so, could you post your /etc/fstab?
