Downloading 9.2 Pro

What is the best way to download Suse 9.2 Pro from the suse ftp server?
Right now I'm just downloading it through firefox and/or IE but I'm on a T1 and it is only downloading at 5 kbs and after about 5mb it gives me a connection error and stops. I've tried using cuteftp but got the same result.
Any suggestions?

At that rate the download (a 3.3 gigabyte DVD) will take a month. The post is quicker.

just browse for some servers or do a search in google for the file you're looking for... i was able to download from multiple servers at a very fast speed.

Try Ebay under linux you will be supprised how cheap it is ,and you also get the proper full version , I got 9.1 4 CDs & updates CD with hundreds of software to choose from , I could not believe the difference compared with the small amount of packages to choose from with the FTP DVD version I got from a Mag , Also if you look into Ebay then make sure you look into different sellers as some are cheaper than others and have better selection , I have bought Linux Distros for as little as a Dollar, Good Luck

Try using a download manager such as Aria, Azureus, kget, Downloader for X or Prozilla, if it us just from a regular FTP site. If you install the Firefox extension Flashgot it will intercept your download links and offer to use a download manager. This works great because it allows resume and will download many segments at the same time and piece them together, providing you have a fast enough connection.

If you can find a torrent file, Bittorrent works faster. With my cable connection I can get a full CD in under 30 minutes from a fast server. If it is a slow server then it will not help anyway, but at least you can resume if something breaks your connection.
