don't want last session to restore at login

Hi,

I login into kde in suse 10.0 default kernel. I get all the screens in was in the last session. It even opens k3b and stuff, which would be ok if maybe the session crashed.

How do disable all of this type of thing form happening I read it has to be settings in ksmserverrc or deleting all of ~/.kde/Autostart/*

Having a hard time figuring out what is the right way and if it could
be used only for crashes or not.

Thanks

when you logout does a window come up with a checkmark asking you to save settings on exit? If you do it once more with no apps open and then uncheck it.
Otherwise go into the gnome control panel (if your using gnome)... you'll find the appropriate config's under "sessions"

cheers

Kcontrol -> KDE Components -> Session Manager -> On Login -> Start With Empty Session.
