Diffrence between OSS and reatil ?

hi,

could someone tell me what is the diffrence between SUSE 10.0 OSS and the one that you can buy....?

i think i saw somthing about adobe/flash and movie support ?

is this what the retail gives you ???

can someone tell me ???

and would the retail help me with my ATI no 3D problems ???

thanks....;)

The OSS version has open-source software only, so no flash / Adobe / Realplayer / Sun Java / MP3 or WIN32 codecs / DVDdeCSS. I'm using the OSS version but got all of these by following the article at http://www.thejemreport.com/mambo/content/view/178/42/

There will be no difference for ATI support out of the box. Any additional ATI drivers will be available no matter what version you install.

Note that there's an OSS version which contains only open source software; an eval version which also includes other free, but closed, software; and a retail version, which as far as I know, includes commercial software.
