At the sises sises they say that the EVAL DVD of souse has the same things the 5 Cots of souse has. It's a EVAL DVD because it brings proprietary software in it, but it's not time limited. The Evil DVD has 3,6 GB size...

But, in the download page, I noticed that there is another DVD available. It's called SUSE SRC DVD. It has 4,4 GB.
The only thing they say about this DVD is that It has all the software sources from SUSE.

So my question is: What is the real difference between SUSE EVAL and SUSE SRC DVD ?? Is the last one just a DVD with software sources or it's a complete SUSE operation system, and more complete than the EVAL version??

the src dvd has all the source files of all the packages, in case you want to either build from source, or work on the source files yourself

But, I still don't understand.. Is it a DVD only with the source of all the programs? Or it's a more complete DVD than the EVAL or the 5 CDs ?

May I take it this way? EVAL DVD + sources = SRC DVD ??

Is it correct? Or it's just programs + sources ? No OS ...

The Eval DVD contains the compiled program packages and the installation routines.
The SRC DVD contains the source code of the program packages.

So, the SRC DVD is not bootable? I thought it was... I thought It was a more complete version of the EVAL DVD...
