when trying to install kdevelop via yast i get a lot of dep problems...

Not sure the issues with kdevelop. Had to remove to upgrade from kde 3.3 to kde 3.5+. One may be able to get the source rpm and rebuild it to match your machine configuration.

rpmbuild --rebuild --recompile kdevelop.src.rpm
