Curl Error....KDE4

Having some difficulties here.

I've tried the 1-click install, and the basic desktop install, and both don't work. I get this error...

could not connect to host

I've been trying since yesterday to get this to work. With no-avail, I've re-installed SuSE twice, getting the same result.

I have the Box set. I'm thinking of downloading the 32 bit and 64 bit DVD's and trying them out. But, there shouldn't be any difference though you'd think.

Any thoughts?

There are a list of repo mirrors at the openSUSE website. Just set another as source in YaST and retry.

Just a similar thought: The error appears to be a network error. Are you sure you have a working network i.e. can you computer connect to the internet?

Sometimes there are some problems with the repository servers. You may wish to give it another try at a later time. I have seen these issues several times recently. Good luck.
