Could not find the SUSE Linux Installation CD
 
i was trying to install suse linux 10.0( x86_64) - i downloaded the set of 5 isos using torrent - so i dont think its a bad download - also burnt it using 3 diff cds..but when i try to install it it says :
"Unable to mount the CD-ROM".
"Starting: Loading Linux Kernel".
"Initializing Hardware".
"Could not find the SUSE Linux Installation CD.
Activating Manual Setup Program?" [OK]
English
English(US)
System Information:
(in manual setup) "Hardware or CD-ROM" -> "/dev/sda"
Devices:
"Block Devices: ramdisk, fd, loop, sd, md, sr, sd, sd, sd"
Varify Installation CD-ROM/DVD:
"Insert Installation CD-ROM or DVD".
No CD-ROM or DVD Found".

my system - amd 64 bit, 1 gb ddr ram, 80 gb pata, asus dvd read/ write ..
pls help

Once you finished downloading each ISO image, you need to check the MD5SUM to verify that the image was intact. Verifying the checksum is easy, just
Code:

md5sum <filename>
where <filename> is the actual file name of the ISO image. Compare the resulting output (which will be a long stirng of letters and numbers) to the reference MD5SUM for that ISO. Note that the MD5SUM's will be available from the same site you downloaded the images from. Good luck with it

i downloaded the torrent. So i dont think its a bad download. I have written the iso to 3 diff cds..can i get a workaround for installing suse
