connecting the web using tata photon+
 
Sir,
I am working on suse 10.1 with KDE desktop. Kindly help me to install tata photon+ EC 1261 huwai device.
command guide lines is preferable.
when i am inserting the device in usb slot it is detecting as a cd writer. how to correct this problem and install photon+ as a usb device.

First, there are not just "sirs" on this site. Second, did you try to search this site or Google first?? This question has been asked and answered MANY times.

If you mean you're using SLES 10.1, then you can contact Novell support for assistance. If this is OpenSUSE 10.1, and it's a new installation, I'd suggest upgrading...the latest is 12.1, and getting the packages you need may be challenging for an older distro. Basically, you need the usb_modeswitch command, to 'flip' the device into modem-mode after insertion. Once you do that, use wvdialconf to set up the device:
