Question Changning Splash Screen of GNOME ! ! !

Dear, Experts, can any body among you tell me that how can i change Splash Screen of my GNOME.

By the Way, i am using SuSE 9.3 Professional. Distro.

What splash are you talking about? Are you talking about the splash that appears at the grub menu? Are you talking about the splash in the background during verbose bootup? Are you talking about the splash behind the log-in screen? Are you talking about the splash of what's loading up after you log in? Each of these has a different way of changing.

The gnome splash screen is called gnome-splash.png. Search for that on your system (different distros put it in different places) and you can then back it up, then change it.
