I recently installed SuSE v10 with the Gnome 2.12. desktop and overall I like it very much.
One small problem is when I plug in my Sandisk Cruzer, it shows up properly on the desktop. The problem comes when I try to unmount the drive using the right mouse button and selecting the "Unmount" option. I get an error message saying that I am not logged in as root and I can not unmount the device.
How can I get this device to be mounted under my user account and not as root? I don't see any config options under YAST (non that I can find).
I don't see anything to edit in fstab. Has anyone else had this problem?
Flash drive mounts fine, but when I try to unmount the drive I get an error message saying I do not have root permission. How can I get SuSE to mount the drive with user permissions?
Yep, suse 9.2 here,
I have the same problem, i could not find a way to unmount so I generally log out then remove it..
That may not be the correct way but so far it worked..I'll be interested to find out how to do it correctly..
